Nothing about our bikes is left to chance. Every single part is carefully selected, tested, and optimized where necessary until it meets the strict requirements of our young riders. The result: sports equipment made for kids who love biking – whether on the flowy trail at the local mountain, at one of the "big kids races," or simply on a quick ride through the neighborhood, your child will feel the difference. Light, agile, and ready for any challenge: that's how biking becomes real fun!
Every JAISON bike is hand-assembled in Switzerland. We place great emphasis on quality and work with Swiss suppliers to be able to respond flexibly to your individual wishes. This creates a bike that is as unique as your child.

The frames of our JAISON kids' mountain bikes are not simply scaled-down adult frames. They incorporate years of experience in children's cycling and the knowledge of what matters most.

We focused on the following characteristics:
Frame
  • Quality
    Our frames are produced to the highest quality standards. Of course, all JAISON frames meet the requirements for impact and fatigue resistance specified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and have been tested accordingly.
  • Standover Height
    We've lowered the top tube on the kids' mountain bike frames. This results in a low standover height, which allows the use of large wheels even for younger riders. This way, they can benefit from the advantages of large wheels earlier. For example, large wheels can roll over obstacles more easily. Control and safety increase.
  • Bottom Bracket Drop
    The bottom bracket drop has a decisive influence on the handling of bicycles. On JAISON kids' mountain bike frames, we've increased this measurement compared to adult bikes. This means the distance between the ground and the bottom bracket is reduced. A low bottom bracket leads to increased stability at high speeds and simultaneously increases control.
  • Chainstay
    JAISON kids' mountain bike frames feature a shortened chainstay. This noticeably improves handling. Additionally, this makes our bikes comparatively easy to wheelie. For kids, usually a welcome feature.
  • Riding Position
    Short head tubes and small stack-to-reach values make our kids' mountain bikes true cross-country bikes. Additionally, this value takes into account the child-specific body proportions of a relatively longer torso in relation to leg length.
  • Weight

We focused on the following characteristics:
  • 1/3 Cranks
    Cranks for kids. A tricky matter. The child-specific needs differ greatly from those of an adult. The length of the crank arms is one of the characteristics of a kids' bike that is often neglected. Unfortunately, cranks that are far too long are often installed. On the one hand, an efficient cadence can hardly be achieved, and on the other hand, large lean angles in corners are impossible because the pedals hit the ground. In addition, cranks that are too long pose an injury risk to the knees, especially for children in the growth phase. We install a crank arm length appropriate to the age and size on every bike. Another important criterion is the so-called Q-factor. This describes the distance between the two crank arms. Crank arms that have a small distance from each other enable ergonomic pedaling and optimal conversion of pedaling force into propulsion. The Q-factor of our JAISON crank is significantly smaller than standard cranks. Crucial for efficient pedaling, which increases fun and propulsion.
  • 2/3 Wheels
    Light wheels are a crucial factor for kids' bikes and play a central role in the riding experience and safety of young cyclists. Light wheels make handling the bike easier. Kids can maneuver, steer, and stop the bike more easily. This promotes confidence and control over the bike. With lighter wheels, kids need to exert less force to get the bike moving and keep it going. A bike with light wheels responds faster to steering movements and braking maneuvers. This can be crucial in avoiding accidents. Better handling and faster reactions thus contribute significantly to the child's safety. Ultimately, a bike with light wheels is simply more fun. That's why we choose very light aluminum rims for building our wheels, combine them with outstanding hubs with double-sealed ball bearings, and use light yet extremely stiff spokes. JAISON wheels are super light and yet so robust that they pass all tests in the test lab, even those with increased requirements and higher forces.
  • 3/3 Handlebar
    We install ergonomically shaped handlebars on our kids' bikes to provide young riders with comfortable and safe handling. The handlebars offer a natural hand position that reduces strain on wrists and shoulders. The adapted shape with a slight backsweep improves control over the bike, which is especially important on uneven terrain and during longer rides. Furthermore, ergonomic handlebars promote better posture and help prevent fatigue, making the riding experience more pleasant and safer for kids. Additionally, we adapt our handlebars to the narrower shoulders of children while still offering enough width to ensure optimal ergonomics and riding stability.

The Lenzerheide Bike Park is another highlight of the region. With its perfectly designed tracks and jumps, it's a paradise for adrenaline junkies. The park offers several lines, including the FLOWline, the PRIMEline, and the SHOREline, each with different difficulty levels and characteristics. The bike park also regularly hosts international competitions such as the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, which underscores the high quality of the facilities and tracks.
In addition to mountain biking, Lenzerheide offers numerous other activities such as hiking, climbing, and of course skiing and snowboarding in winter. The region is known for its family-friendly offerings and has a well-developed infrastructure with hotels, restaurants, and shops specifically geared toward the needs of outdoor sports enthusiasts.
